- Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM (EST), Monday – Friday.
- Handling Time: 1–2 business days.
- Immediate Processing: Orders placed before the cut-off time are often sent to our San Diego warehouse for picking and packing within hours. Therefore, the window for intervention is limited.
- ORDER CANCELLATION GUIDELINES
2.1 The 12-Hour Grace Period We provide a 12-hour window from the exact time of purchase during which you may request a cancellation for a full, immediate refund.
2.2 Cancellation Eligibility by Order Status
- Payment Authorized/Completed: Cancellation is highly likely. Please contact us immediately.
- In Processing/Packaging: We will make every effort to pull the package from the line, provided you are within the 12-hour window.
- Dispatched/Shipped: Once the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) has taken possession of the package, the order cannot be canceled. In this case, you must follow our 30-Day Free Return Policy once the item arrives.
2.3 How to Initiate a Cancellation To ensure your request is seen by our fulfillment team in time, please email support@shopthepower.com with the subject line: “URGENT: Order Cancellation #[Your Order Number]”.
- ORDER MODIFICATION PROTOCOLS
If you need to change details of your order rather than cancel it entirely, the following rules apply within the 12-hour grace period:
- Shipping Address Corrections: Accuracy is vital. If you have provided an incorrect suite number, zip code, or street address, notify us immediately. We cannot redirect a package once it has left our San Diego facility.
- Product Substitutions: You may request a change in size, color, or style, subject to current stock availability at Shopthepower.
- Financial Adjustments: * If a modification results in a higher total, we will provide a secure payment link for the difference.
- If the modification results in a lower total, we will issue a partial refund to your original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, or PayPal) within 5 business days.
- POST-SHIPMENT PROCEDURES
Once an order has been marked as “Shipped” and a tracking number has been issued:
- No further modifications or cancellations can be executed.
- If the items are no longer desired, please do not refuse delivery, as this can lead to lost packages. Instead, accept the delivery and contact support@shopthepower.com to receive your prepaid free return label.
- REFUNDS AND BILLING INTEGRITY
- Zero Cancellation Fees: Shopthepower does not penalize customers for canceling within the allowed timeframe. You will receive a 100% refund, including the $6.99 shipping fee.
- Refund Timeline: All approved cancellations are processed immediately. Depending on your financial institution, the funds will typically appear in your account within 5 business days.
- UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
- Inventory Discrepancies: On rare occasions, an item may become unavailable after an order is placed. If this occurs, we will contact you immediately to offer a comparable replacement or a full 100% refund.
- Fraud Prevention: Shopthepower reserves the right to cancel any order that triggers our internal fraud security flags. In such cases, a full refund is issued, and the customer is notified via the email address provided.
